  • Return the brisket to the smoker and continue to cook for another 2-3 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 205 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 4: Rest the brisket.

  • Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.

Step 5: Slice the brisket.

  • Slice the brisket against the grain into thin slices.

Step 6: Serve the brisket.

  • Serve the brisket on its own or with your favorite barbecue sides.
