In 1990 we discovered that small family wineries were the most passionate in the wine world and their wines the hidden gems of wine country.
These small wineries handcraft extraordinary wine, but in quantities too limited to be distributed outside their local area. Since 1990 it has been our wine club's mission to help these artisan wineries introduce their wines to the world.
How Do We Pick Wines?
We taste. A lot. Hundreds of wines are rejected each year. We are a small business with one goal: ensure the wines we send are ones our members will love. Our promise has always been that we will only feature wines we would proudly serve to our friends and family in our homes, and we mean it.
Where do the Wines Come From?
We log many miles exploring wine country looking for small, artisan wineries. When we find them, we ask: “What is your best wine? What is the best representation of what you do? Which wine is YOUR favorite?” Those are the interesting, labor-of-love wines made with personal pride that they want to share, and those are the wines we really want our members to experience.
